Literature Text

I wanted so much

For us to see

What could have been

But will never be.

My warmth once

Was kindled by you.

We came together,

And the fire grew.

But when your flame

Had flickered out

I lost the warmth

And so brought drought.

You gave me strength.

You gave me hope.

You've been torn away,

And I cannot cope.

Like Ignis himself

I have risen from the ash

With fury greater than

Thunder's crash.

But now with a heart

no longer warm.

A cold hearted killer

In a fire storm.

So bring me your living,

I'll return them dead.

Touch my family,

and off with your head.

Your fire is still strong,

We will never be beat

I shall bare the cold.

Without your heat.

The unknown has called you

as the fading glow.

So into the unknown,

I too go.
Ah, and so we get to peer into Andromeda's current mindset. For years her need for revenge had grown to the point that she could not make room in her heart to love another until her grudge was settled. Finally, she got the closure she needed and realized who she loved more than anything... Only to have him ripped from her life as well.

And now that need for revenge cascades over her once again. But this time, she can't just leave her empire to hunt down the culprits, not now that she is their new leader. They need her. And now, through them, she will see to it that Fire Empire is never again taken advantage of.

The day of warm hearts in Fire Empire is over.

Now begins the rein of cold fire.

btw, if anyone wants to RP with me via FH, I'll gladly do so. But my Andromeda preset is a little outdated.

This makes me excited to play a Fire Empire cat.  Especially that last bit in the artist's comments.

This was very well written, you really get a feel for the character while the poem goes really smoothly as well!
