[ Entry 004 ]"So we've come to a...strange...conclusion to our relationship. We love each other to a certain degree, yes, but...we decided maybe we're not meant for one another. Regardless though, we're still close friends and...we decided to have cubs. Honestly, I couldn't be happier, and I can hardly wait for my children to be born."

[ Entry 005 ] "If Brutus has taught me anything about life, it's that you can learn to love anyone. Not that it's hard to love that big marshmallow. I just never thought I would feel this strongly for him. But when I saw him after returning from the war, I remember how relieved and overjoyed I was to see that he was okay. I feel so lucky to have Brutus to be the father of my cubs. He's wise, patient, strong and infinitely loyal. He's going to be a perfect father, as he always has been for Fire Empire's cubs."}

"Her cubs were born after Scaeden and his Bounty Hunter friends were cast out of our prisoner hold. It may just be a suspicion, but... One of her cubs looks exactly like Scaeden... I'm not sure if I should confront Alynnia about it or just wait until I know for sure. Surely, she knows what the punishment is for such treachery... And I fear that punishment would only push her back into Scaeden's paws..."

"I confronted her after learning from Kallisto that Scaeden and Soren were actually...brothers. It came as quite a shock, but it meant that Nia's cubs carried Soren's blood. I suppose I'm a little biased, but there's no way I could possibly exile Nia when her cubs were related to my former mate. She took the confrontation hard, and it hurt me to see her that way. She convinced me she hated Scaeden and would never teach her cubs to be anything like him. I wholeheartedly believe her, and I was relieved that we became close friends after it was all settled. I hope her cubs grow up comfortably here."

"I feel so bad for her...just as her cubs are graduating to apprentice, one of them goes missing. Dezz...we searched the territory for him before finding his scent mixed with Scaeden's near the border. With no signs of struggle, it was easy to assume the silver tongued Hunter convinced Dezz to go with him. I promise Nia, when the time is right, we will get your boy back."

"It's taken longer than expected. A cat named Leartes has brought the idea of war to the empires, and I agreed to it. Nia agreed to it. I'll be training her and some others how to fight and kill to show these Hunters that we aren't to be messed with. We're going in there, and we're getting her cub back. We're avenging our lost loved ones and releasing anyone we can. We will not let them take from us without a fight."

"Scaeden must have done a great job brainwashing poor Dezz...he's become one of them, and it hit Nia harder than anyone. I glimpsed her pelting after Dezz in the midst of battle. I couldn't do anything at the time...and she didn't come back. That was the last I saw of her. I'm sure she's not dead though. With Dezz being alive, there's a huge chance she is too. Once the empire is back on their feet, we're going to go find her and everyone else we lost. We'll use different tactics this time. And hopefully...Sator will be kind to us."}

"We became like a family- him, Soren, and me. It was everything I ever wanted except...Nightmares still plagued me. I felt terrible having to leave him but I had to. When I came back from Massilia, Garen was so much older. Both he and Soren had missed me so much...just has much as I had missed them. And we were a family again. Until...Then it was just Garen and me. He seemed to shut down after his father's death. I tried to be there for him but...There wasn't much I could do. I did what I could while at the same time doing what I could for the rest of the empire to help them heal."

"Eventually, Garen came out of his shell again, and I knew he was ready to begin training. I gave him to Brutus to train. I would train him myself, but I would probably baby him too much. Brutus is sure to train him excellently...and I know Soren would have chosen the same."

"Garen has noticed that Brutus and I have become close...He was rather upset at first, but I ensured him that no one could ever replace his father. He seemed to understand, and he said he was happy for me...He's happy.. that I'm happy."

"The cub has grown from apprentice to gladiator and I couldn't be more proud of the cat he has become. He's a lot like his mother in terms of personality, but I see a lot of his father in him too. I had wanted to wait until he was a gladiator to tell him the truth about his parentage...For a surprise, for one, and also because I didn't want him growing up with split loyalties. I suppose it was for the better that he found out for himself, and he met his sister Anura. He even brought her to camp so she could learn about her father's empire. Of course I had to reprimand him for bringing another empire's gladiator into the heart of our territory, but I know he meant well and she could be trusted. I had a good time learning about her as much as she had learning about her father. Her personality is so much like his."}

_{"I remember the first time I met him. It was back in the City, when we were battle hardened gladiators of the arena. Everyone warned me not to mess with him, because he was dangerous and his father was a well known and deadly Bounty Hunter. But that just made me want to speak to him more, so I did. He wasn't nearly as bad as the others said. I actually found him to be quite nice. I used to watch his arena battles, and I would sneak into his cage to lick his wounds clean. Later, he inspired my escape, and I ended up joining Fire Empire about a week after he did. We rose through the ranks side by side as friends, and made this once weak clan into the strongest Empire in the forest. He has come to be my closest friend with my highest respect. He's made some mistakes, but he's learned from them. In my eyes, he's still the most clever cat in the Empire, and I wouldn't want to follow anyone else. I'd die for him in a heartbeat."}

We were all so happy to have him back but then after staying for only about a month...He decided to leave us. Reason being, he had a mate in another empire and they were...pretty much running away together. I know I'll never see him again, but there was nothing I could do to make him stay. "While I was gone, Soren made Aglaia temporary Silver Gladiator until I returned. Then once Soren was gone...Aglaia shared my hatred for them. I knew she would make a good Silver, and so I promoted her to such, despite her young age. Maybe it was because her former mentor was no longer there, but she didn't seem to handle the position well. After she got sick, I knew it was time for her to step down. She did so, and I think she'll be much happier without the responsibilities of Silver. Now she just has to focus on getting better."

"I was so happy that she had finally settled down and started a family with a nice gladiator...but when I returned from Massilia, I found that she had been killed defending her cubs. I have to admit, I've cried many nights for her. She deserved to live a long life...She deserved it more than many cats. More than I."}}

Sometimes he kinda reminds me of Soren in that way...But he rejected the offer to stay free like us, so they're hardly the same. One day we'll meet again, and maybe then he won't be so lucky. "}

"First we learned he'd gone to Rome...and I thought perhaps my empire would be safe from him. But then, next thing we know, Kallisto is bursting into camp screaming that Scaeden has returned. He scared the Helios out of her, but luckily, he didn't hurt her... We're going to have to make sure we're all on guard until Scaeden is killed."}

I'm very surprised he's not reported by escape to the Bounty Hunters yet, and I suppose I kind of respect him for that."}
